Creative Director/Suckerpunch Co-Founder
A former roller derby skater and graduate of the Advertising Art program at Red River College, Jennifer is known for her boundless energy and design intuition. As creative director, she works very closely with clients, seeing projects through from conception to delivery. Living and breathing design, Jennifer uses her critical eye to bring client-focused creative to life, understanding that all jobs – large or small – can have a huge impact on brand. In 2017, this work hard/play hard gal brought together two of her passions and launched the annual Run for Tacos, an almost 5K race that culminates in an all-you-can eat taco extravaganza on the Suckerpunch deck.
After graduating from the Asper School of Business, Madison quickly found a passion for planning and managing projects, programs and events of all sizes. In her role as Suckerpunch’s Account Manager, Madison keeps everyone’s momentum moving forward, quickly building relationships with clients and overseeing projects from conception to completion, always with an eye toward the next milestone after our clients have reached their goals. When she isn’t working to make ideas into reality, Madison keeps herself grounded with hot yoga and running, and is a proud foster failure to her cat, Zoey.
After graduating from Carleton University in December 2020, Cameryn joined the Suckerpunch team and has thrived in her role as Account Coordinator. She welcomes the challenge every new day brings and relishes the opportunity to coordinate complicated projects, build lasting client relationships, learn from her colleagues and create excellent work. Cameryn works hard but plays easy — spending her weekends at the lake lounging in a hammock or curling up to watch a classic movie from her family’s VHS collection.
Lola started her marketing journey on the client services side and learned the importance of active listening early on as great ideas or concepts can often come from unexpected people or places. As Suckerpunch’s Agency Administrator, Lola ensures that our workflow is organized and our team is operating at peak efficiency. In her spare time, Lola enjoys curling up with a good read, getting out for a nice walk and exploring a new city. She also likes experimenting with and perfecting new recipes — even when they don’t turn out the first time.
Lead Interactive Developer
Grant has worked in website development for nearly 10 years. In that time, he’s had the opportunity to work on websites for brands like Pepsi, Cabela’s and Cargill — maybe you’ve heard of them? Grant is passionate about user experience and loves taking the time to plan and build things that have a positive impact for our clients and their users. If you’re looking for him during non-work hours, good luck: he prefers to spend his free time outdoors camping, hiking or paddling, or sampling the latest local craft beers.
After kickstarting his career in the tech field with SkipTheDishes and his own startup, Reckoning Technologies, Lucas joined Suckerpunch as a Junior Web Developer, where he is responsible for planning, developing, and managing our clients’ websites. One thing Lucas has learned in his career is the importance of continued learning, especially with how often new technologies are updated or released. In his free time, Lucas is an active member of several Ride-By Event groups, Winnipeg-based motorcycle groups that go to events, birthdays and other celebrations all over the city to bring a little spark of fun.
Digital Marketing Manager
One of RB’s favourite things about working in marketing is how essential it is to be a lifelong learner, especially when it comes to digital. You’ll usually find this Red River College Creative Communications grad either sifting through rows of data in search of optimization opportunities or lending his copywriting skills to different projects with a cup of coffee always close by. Outside of work, this rabid New York Knicks fan splits his time between riding bikes and trying to wrangle his friends for a game of D&D.
With over 20 years of design experience under his belt, Dave has seen it all from working in design studios, ad agencies and running his own business. As Suckerpunch’s Art Director, Dave provides our clients with print and digital design solutions, whether they’re needed next week or the next hour. Old habits die hard, and as a longtime drummer, you’ll sometimes hear Dave tapping out a beat at his desk. Naturally, he enjoys playing music in his spare time, but sometimes swaps the drumsticks for golf clubs or a campsite.
Working as a designer over the last three years, Daniel has learned that creativity is gained through expanding your world and gaining new perspectives, which is why he’s always exploring the work of other designers and creatives. In his day-to-day as Suckerpunch’s Multimedia Designer, Daniel jumps between CMS platforms and Adobe apps, flexing and developing a variety of creative skills across a broad range of projects. When he’s not at the office, Daniel spends his free time staying active, spending time with friends and honing his photography skills.
